Knowing the steps of an interior project makes the whole experience calmer. You know what to expect, what to decide and when. Here is how a typical Manzil Homes project runs.
1. First conversation and site visit
We meet at our Visakhapatnam studio or at your site. We talk about who lives in the home, how you use each room, your style, Vastu needs, timeline and budget range. If the property is ready, we measure it; if it is under construction, we work from the floor plan.
2. Space planning and Vastu
We prepare furniture layouts for each room and check them against Vastu: entrance, kitchen, pooja room and master bedroom placement. This is where most of the value in a design is created, so take your time with it.
3. Concept and mood boards
We put together a mood board for the home with colours, textures, materials and reference images, so the look is agreed before detailed design starts.
4. 3D visualization
We create photo-realistic 3D renders of the main rooms. You can see how the kitchen, living room and bedrooms will look and request changes before anything is built.
5. Detailed drawings and BOQ
Once the 3D is approved, we prepare technical drawings for joinery, false ceilings, electrical points and lighting, along with a detailed bill of quantities (BOQ). The BOQ lists every item and specification, so the budget is clear and any later change is tracked.
6. Material selection
You finalise laminates, veneers, stone, tiles, hardware, fabrics and paint shades with our team, ideally by seeing physical samples.
7. Execution on site
Civil changes, electrical and plumbing come first, then false ceilings, then joinery and installation, then painting and finishing. Work follows milestone-based schedules with quality checks at each stage.
8. Handover and after-care
We clean, style and walk you through the finished home, checking every shutter, light and fitting together. After-care continues after handover.
